	THE STORY BEHIND THE SHADES .... Over the years, my clients have asked for unique lampshades. Tired of my old standby of covering plain shades with decorative fabric, I decided to take matters into my own hands, literally, and develop my own line. They are now available to the public as well as other designers who are asked the same by their clients.
Shades are handcrafted through an 8-step metallic paint and glaze process which imparts a pattern known in French as "craquele'". The jewel-like quality of the metallic finish was the inspiration for continuing the French theme with the name, "Bijoux". All components of a shade, other than European glass beaded trims, are made in the USA and all media are LEED specified.	PLC Studio
