PERSONAL PROFILE
AN UNCONVENTIONAL ROUTE LED
TO A CAREER IN INTERIOR DESIGN
After graduating
from the University
of California, Berkeley, with
a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics,
teaching in
Bay Area high schools, and writing computer software
for Pacific Bell in San Francisco's
financial district, a genealogical trip to Tuscany turned my life upside down.
Inspired by Italy's historic beauty,
the echo of Puccini in the air, and
a later study of the formal gardens
of France, I returned to the States
to pursue a degree in Architectural
Interior Design.
In 1989, I established Tavola Bella
Designs in San Francisco, and in
2003, moved back to my home town
of Napa where I have extended my
services to include exterior design.
